Insert photo and scale the photo by using reference and proper length. trace on the image by using different layer to identify different material.

First,extrude all the walls and columns of the ground floor by using the floor plan.

After finishing on the ground floor,proceed to the first floor by bringing up the first floor plan and start off with the base floor.

Finishing the first floor plan,and creating window and door openings by using elevation drawings.

Extruding the walls of the second floor.

Perspective 1 - Finishing the house's final roof and wallah,the model is done and rendered.

Import autocad file into 3ds max and rotate all the drawings into the corect angle and set up the elevations.

Next,extrude and create the basic details from the plan such as the doors and the stairs.

Setting up the walls of the first floor and then attach them together.

Creating the stairs to the second floor bed room.

Finishing the roof with the help of floor plan by first creating a box,with the help of elevation to get the correct dimension and use edit poly to create the form of the roof and link together.

After picking the materials,from the default and the web,the materials are put into the specific components of the building and UVW is used to create a realistc view for the model.

UVW map can be used to set the materials to correct scale and orientation.

Different materials also have different properties which can be edited by the user's liking or to suit the environment of different times.

After that,the camera are set at a specific point where the Z-axis should be set around 1500mm as the eye view.

Lighting that functions similar to the sun can also be found in 3ds max. We can change the intensity of the virtual sun to give different strength for the light to emit.

After all materials are put into the model,and with the lightings all set,it is time to test render on the building to see whether there is the need to change any other things.

Setting up the background,by importing trees found on the web. 

Render the scene once more and create bird view for the submission.

Storing the alpha channel,to be used in photoshop.

Open the site photo needed and remove the sky with the magic wand tool.

Choose an appropriate sky view from the web.

Eye view set at the height of 1500mm.

And also the radius of the sun can also be set depending on the user.Smaller radius will give narrow light emission,whereas larger radius of light will emit wide light.

Second view requires the use of photoshop.Firstly,importing the rendered model into the photoshop.

With the help of the saved alpha channel,original background can be removed with ease.

Copy the layer and put it together with the model and set up the position. 

Putting everything together and start editing.

For the interior rendering,firstly,put the furnitures into the specific spaces.Can be download on the web for free.

Find the scene to be used and render,but still require more light on the inside.

To overcome that issue,add the Vray light portal into openings or glass material where sun light can pass through.

Project 3- A maximum 90 seconds animation of completed 3d scene

Firstly,draw the path way for the scene to take place.

Smoothen line.

Bezier created anchor points,allowing the user to control the curves.

After creating a camera in the assistant,click the pick path button and the camera created will attached to the path automatically.

Create different paths,each with their own angles and settings.Other than the walkthrough assistant, the key frame function can also be used to accomplish the same thing,with more flexible work.

To create a smooth walkthrough path,the line need to be smoothen.

To create different level of curvature,on the same menu as smooth,we can use bezier to control the level of curvature.

The walkthrough assistant is a tool that allows you to create cameras and choose lines that you want to use as the walkthrough path.

Choose the camera and run a test walktrhough to see if the scene will run smoothly as desired.From there,we can keep making changes until it is perfect.
